Major content areas covered on the exam include:

  • Social Responsibilities of Business

The American Council on Education (ACE) has evaluated and recommended the new exam to be equivalent to a 3-credit course in the upper baccalaureate division. “We’re excited to offer this new exam as part of our credit by exam program and are confident that many adult learners in the workforce likely already have a level of familiarity with this timely and relevant subject,” said Giannina Rachetta, DSST Product Marketing Manager at Prometric. “The successful release and subsequent ACE accreditation reinforces our commitment to provide an alternative, affordable and flexible learning path to all students – young and old.”

Over the past two years, 14 of Prometric’s 38 DSST exams were refreshed in content and rerecommended by the ACE for college credit. A complete listing of exam titles, preparation materials and other information can be found by visiting www.getcollegecredit.com.
