Visit DSST at NCTA’s Annual Conference
Once again, DSST will be front and center at the National College Testing Association (NCTA) Annual Conference.
The 13th Annual Conference, taking place from August 1 through August 4, is sure to provide an onslaught of learning opportunities for attendees of all kinds. The theme this year is: Minnesota, Land of 10,000 Tests, and the conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis.
As an avid supporter of the NCTA and one of the largest proponents of adult learning, Prometric and its DSST program are Gold Sponsors of this event. We encourage you to stop by and see us at the exhibitor’s fair on Friday August 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., where some of our helpful and knowledgeable DSST staff will be on-site to talk to you about the program and to answer any questions you may have.
As a Gold Sponsor, we would also like to invite you to join DSST as we present at the Sponsor’s Workshop: Easily Navigating Credit by Exam with the DSST Crew, on Wednesday, August 1 from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45pm in the Nicollett D3 room.
In this workshop, the DSST team will walk audience members of every kind a peek into the three key aspects of DSST: test taker experience, test administrator experience and how to become a DSST test center. In addition to providing a substantial amount of information on how DSST can benefit your students, the workshop will include an interactive demonstration of the actual DSST exam registration process, including what the proctor needs to do to let the candidate into the exam environment. This will be the first time we’ll give attendees a glimpse into the process, so don’t miss the opportunity to have an “advanced screening.” The session will also include a demonstration of where to find critical candidate registration information on the DSST website (i.e. where to find the Designated Institution Code, the requirements to become a test center, how to submit a Proctor Update Form, etc).
The DSST workshop is sure to provide you with guidance, direction and helpful information to get you walking on the path to credit by exam with DSST. To register for the workshop, please send an email to Sarah Hinder at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The mission of the NCTA is to promote professionalism and quality in the administration of testing services and programs. As an industry pioneer and one of the first large-scale testing providers, Prometric has long been committed to providing fair, valid and reliable opportunities to test. The DSST program has been assisting members of the military, civilians and anyone interested in alternative methods of learning for decades. We are proud to support learners of all kinds through our flexible and affordable program and we hope that you’ll take a few minutes to stop by and learn how DSST can benefit you, your students, or your learning institution.
